Description
A seldom encountered, underrated Philadelphia mint issue, the 1846 Liberty Eagle hails from a mintage of 20,095. Of the limited survivors PCGS has graded just PCGS two dozen finer than this charming AU. Both well-struck sides are defined by uniform straw-gold coloration and a myriad of grade limiting marks. A pleasing example of this significant issue, this piece would do justice in any quality numismatic cabinet! - Liberty Head $10
