1846-O $1 PCGS MS64 ex: D.L. Hansen

Struck from a mintage of just 59,000 coins. Light, original yellow-gold toning throughout that is strong at the rims and fades towards the centers. Surprisingly mark-free for the grade with impressive luster and eye appeal. Some weakness of strike at 12 o'clock on the obverse and the corresponding lower reverse is worth mentioning but is not unusual for the date.
