Often referred to as Pitt tokens, the Colonial pieces were issued in honor of William Pitt, a British politician who concerned himself trying to get the Stamp Act repealed. Chestnut brown surfaces glisten with strong luster, showcasing the lovely design! The reverse design is especially intriguing as it looks askew. We note several edge rail chips.
