These beautiful American Eagle Silver Coins contain 1 troy ounce of silver each, and are in BU (Brilliant Uncirculated) condition. The coin pictured is a representation of our Brilliant Uncirculated American Silver Eagles. The coins you receive may be from one, or a range of dates/mints from 1986 to the present, from Philadelphia, San Francisco, and/or West Point. The obverse (front side) features a rendition of world-renowned sculptor Adolph A. Weinman's magnificent Walking Liberty design, originally used on the United States Half-Dollar coin from 1916 – 1947. As this iconic design had been one of the most beloved designs of any United States coinage of modern times, due to its demand it was revived for the Silver Eagle in 1986. The reverse (back side) is a creation of Sculptor-Engraver John Mercanti and bears a rendition of a majestic eagle grasping an olive branch in its right talon and arrows in its left, proudly perched below thirteen five-pointed stars.
