Turks and Caicos 1687 (1971) Concepcion Salvage Restrike

Silver. 54.3mm. This is a replica of a medal issued in 1687 to commemorate the salvage of the Spanish wreck Concepcion (1641). Numbered #0403. The front lower left part of the holder exhibits a haze of some sort. Fortunately, it impedes very little in the viewing of the medal inside.
