David Akers' Auction Analysis Volume V comments: "The 1874 is scarce in all grades... Generally, the 1874 is available only in the VF to AU grades and strictly uncirculated examples are vary scarce. In choice or gem mint state, the date is rare." His average grade is listed as VF-36.
