A scarce Dahlonega issue which saw a mintage of just 4,952 coins. This is a pleasing Mint State example displaying warm golden color and vivid mint luster. The obverse shows a clearly defined Liberty portrait with strong lettering and a full rim, while the reverse wreath, denomination, and date are bold for the issue. Light scattered marks, consistent with the MS-61 grade are present, yet the coin retains attractive overall eye appeal.
