The 1848 Seated Liberty Half Dollar, WB-102 Repunched Date( R.4) certified MS65 by PCGS and approved by CAC, is a conditionally extraordinary Gem and one of the premier survivors of this elusive pre-Civil War issue. A scarcer date in all Mint State, this coin is genuinely rare at the GEM MS65 level. Both obverse and reverse are adorned in rich, original forest-green, lilac-gray, champagne-tan, and soft silver patina that swirls gracefully over satiny, carefully preserved surfaces, producing exceptional depth and sophisticated eye appeal.
