Description
1793 Liberty Cap Large Cent, S-13 variety, graded AG03 by PCGS. First-year U.S. cent and short-lived Liberty Cap type. Honest, problem-free AG3 with the date visible and enough detail for clear attribution. Surfaces appear natural for the grade with no significant corrosion or major distractions, which is important for early copper. Obverse shows the essential detail for the type; reverse worn as expected. 1793 Liberty Cap cents are always in demand as a one-year type from the first year of U.S. coinage and are increasingly difficult to find in certified holders. Solid example for a type set or early copper collection.
