Description
PCGS authenticated and graded AU Details. Steel and olive with hints of mellowed orange underneath. Glossy surfaces with evidence of very light smoothing, likely the reason for the Details distinction by PCGS. Sharp details other than the usual softly struck area on the upper left reverse due to die swell, also the reason for the blunt lower curls. Strong clash marks are seen inside the left wreath branch. Noyes Die State A, Breen Die State IV. Small Fraction. The condition census for this variety includes coins that range from VF 30 to AU 50, although this piece is not included in that list, it definitely qualifies to be among them.
