This is an R-7 (7-12 known). Struck in copper.
Gemmy surfaces are a joy to behold. The mirrors are light but are ultra clean. There is a dash of pale toning spread evenly all over. The mirrors look like glass. Both sides are a totally original RB color. There are no spots or stains. Every detail is pinpoint sharp in strike. The eye appeal is fabulous!
PCGS 2, NGC 0, CAC 2. We forget if this is really pop 1—it may very well be. It last brought $7,800.00 in 08/2021. The current Collectors Universe value is $11,000.00. We think this coin is priced too cheaply in the market. If you collect Shield 5C, how could you not want a rare GEM in copper?
