Description
With just 43,597 circulation strikes produced, the 1859 has the second lowest mintage among Type one Philadelphia double eagles. A rich olive patina with glints of rose-gold desperately trying to peak through the skin of honest circulation . Well defined, there is some overall light wear and softness to the strike. Extremely difficult to find CAC approved, regardless of grade.
