Larry Shapiro has been collecting Morgan Dollars for over 38 years. He put together a collection which included bright white along with many coins with rim or other eye appealing toning. Eye appeal was the key to his collection. That set was completed at the the end of 2004. Jim Foster of Liberty Coin in Signal Hill, CA helped Larry assemble the collection.
This set was broken up and sold in August 2004 by Superior., MINT-CITY bought numerous coins from this collection and this is the first we are selling.
This Eye Popping,Jaw Dropping MS 66 Beauty is a stunning example featuring it's original Golden Sunset Toning along the rIm that blends in wonderful with the coin's Frost White surfaces toward the center.
A true Investment grade coin that only will continue to appreciate in value over the years.
