1928 $1 PCGS MS66 ex: D.L. Hansen

The 1928 is one of our favorite Peace Dollar issues, boasting the lowest mintage in the series. Just 360,649 coins were struck and only two have been certified by PCGS finer than the present example! This beautifully preserved gem features smooth, softly frosted surfaces bathed in a pleasing gold patina. A few areas of deeper toning on the reverse affect the eye appeal slightly but serve to attest to the originality of the coin.
