Description
An outrageously nice 1855 seated half, one of just five MS66 examples graded by PCGS, with none finer! Booming cartwheel luster with subtle champagne overtones. The strike is razor-sharp with crisp hair and fully defined eagle feathers. Fields are exceptionally clean for the issue, this coin looks more like an 1880-S dollar than a seated half! Incredible eye appeal, the kind that makes you stop the moment you see it in a case at a coin show. Housed in a PCGS gold shield holder.
