1845-D $5 Liberty PCGS XF-45

A desirable early Dahlonega Half Eagle in an early green label holder. This lightly worn example retains strong design definition for the grade, with Liberty’s portrait bold and well outlined and the reverse eagle showing clear feather detail and a distinct shield. Surfaces exhibit attractive, rich yellow-gold color with fewer marks than typically encountered for this issue. A scarce Southern gold issue with solid eye appeal and historic charm.
