1797 1C PCGS AU50 (S-128, Rev of '97, Stems) - Draped Bust Cent

Glossy milk chocolate brown, with lighter brown in protected areas, handsomely displayed on the reverse. Boasting a smooth planchet with no porosity, only a small spot of verdigris over the T in UNITED. Middle die state, Breen state VI, with die cracks and clash marks that add interest. The M over E error in AMERICA is visible but obscured a bit by some retained dirt. Boldly detailed for the grade level, the overall preservation and eye appeal are impressive. - Draped Bust Cent
