1858-O Seated Liberty Quarter 25C PCGS MS63 Extremely Rare Rattler Holder

The 1858-O Seated Liberty Quarter is extremely rare in Mint State. The 1991 PCGS Population Report — reflecting rattler-era submissions only — recorded just one example at MS62 and one at MS63, making this the finest known example in a rattler holder at that time. This coin, in its original Generation 1.2 green label "Rattler" holder, cert #8109216, represents a rarity within a rarity. Auction appearances for this date in any holder are extremely infrequent, with fewer than a handful of recorded sales over the past decade.
