It was laterdetermined that the men had travelled to London where they purchased $35,000worth of diamond refuse, which they simply sprinkled around their Wyomingproperty before bringing the proposed investor’s prospectors. When the prospectorsshared their findings with the investors, which included Tiffany & Co. andBaron von Rothschild, a deal was quickly struck.
