ThomasSullivan believed that sending out his tea samples would be cheaper using silkbags than the traditional boxes. Recipients believed that the bags were meantto be dipped and soon Sullivan was receiving countless orders for his “teabag”. This 1904 half eagle recalls the accidental invention of the teabag. <o:p></o:p>
