1868 $3 Princess PCGS MS-65

A low-mintage issue, with only 4,850 coins struck, and survivors in true Gem condition are exceedingly rare. This piece displays bold, frosty luster and radiant yellow-gold color across both sides. Liberty’s portrait is sharply defined, with crisp detail in the headdress and hair, while the reverse wreath and denomination are equally bold. Surfaces are exceptionally well-preserved, with only the faintest contact marks visible under magnification—qualities that confirm the Gem designation. A very flashy coin with outstanding eye appeal! Only 2 coins have grade finer at PCGS.
