A beautiful Gem example of this better date Shield Nickel which saw a mintage of 25,900 coins. The surfaces are frosty and brilliant, with sharp strikes bringing out full definition in the shield details, leaves, and star points. The reverse displays crisp clarity in the numeral “5” and the encircling stars, with only the faintest marks consistent with the grade.
